| Mission Devine Golf Tournament It is time for the second annual Mission Devine golf tournament which will be held on March 29, 2008, from 8:00 - 1:00 at the golf course in Devine. The purpose of Mission Devine is to demonstrate God's love by meeting the physical needs of people in the Devine, Texas community, through the coordinated efforts of volunteers and through gifts and donations of contributors. Mission Devine is a ministry of the Devine Ministerial Fellowship, a non-profit organization. A workweek is scheduled every year in June to help with home improvements for people who are of low-income, the elderly, and homeowners with disabilities. There are only two fundraisers for our projects, the golf tournament in March and a rummage sale in the fall. How can you help? Sponsorship is only $100 and includes your name on our sponsorship Tshirt, a meal on the day of the tournament, your name on a sign placed on one of the holes, one Tshirt, and newspaper advertising the week of the tournament and again during the workweek in June. Another option is to golf in the tournament. The entry fee is $50 per person and includes a meal and a Tshirt and a chance to win some very nice door prizes.
